In 2025, the Association of Supervisors of Banks of the Americas conducted a total of 41 activities as part of its Continental Training Program.

The initiative saw the participation of representatives from banking supervision and regulation institutions across the region.

Information on Programs

Program

The Continental Training Program (PCC, for its Spanish acronym) is designed to provide training courses and webinars on banking supervision and regulation topics to enhance the supervisory capacity of ASBA Members.
The objectives of the program are:
· To enhance the supervisory capacity of the Region’s supervisors by providing consistent training focused on the most relevant supervisory issues.
· To consolidate training efforts under a single initiative to ensure its effectiveness.
· To establish a permanent program to complement the training efforts of each Member’s regulatory program, as well as to provide training and professional development on new initiatives in banking supervision.

Program

The Horizontal Cooperation Program is designed to facilitate the technical development of banking supervision agencies through the sharing of specialized technical resources for predetermined periods and purposes.
